Privacy Policy

Tooled Up Pro is an independent review site — not a data business. This page explains what we collect, why, and what your options are. Short version: we run Google Analytics to understand what content is useful, we have affiliate links, and we don't collect your personal information.

What We Collect

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors use the site. To protect performance, GA4 runs via Partytown (a web worker), which keeps analytics scripts off your main browser thread. Analytics data includes:

• Pages visited and how long you spent on them
• Where you came from (search engine, direct link, etc.)
• Browser type, device type, and operating system
• Approximate location by country or region — not precise

We do not collect your name, email address, or any other personally identifying information. There are no user accounts, no email signup forms, and no comment sections on this site.

Cookies

Google Analytics sets first-party cookies to distinguish visitors and track sessions. These are analytics-only cookies — we do not run advertising cookies or retargeting pixels. Google's own privacy policy governs how they handle analytics data: policies.google.com/privacy.

To opt out of Google Analytics across all websites, install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Affiliate Links

Some links on this site are affiliate links. When you click one and sign up for a product, we may earn a commission from the vendor — at no extra cost to you. The software companies we currently have affiliate relationships with include Jobber, Housecall Pro, ServiceTitan, FieldPulse, GorillaDesk, Workiz, and Kickserv.

When you leave this site via an affiliate link, the vendor may set their own tracking cookies. Their privacy policies govern what they collect. We clearly disclose affiliate relationships at the top of every article that contains affiliate links — no hidden sponsorships, no paid placements, no undisclosed commissions.

Third-Party Services

• Cloudflare Pages — hosts this site. Cloudflare logs request metadata (IP addresses, timestamps) for security and CDN performance. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
• Google Analytics 4 — site analytics, described above.
• Google Fonts — we load the DM Sans typeface from Google's servers. Google may log this font request. See Google's privacy policy.

We link to software vendor sites, G2, Capterra, and other third parties throughout the site. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. Check their policies before sharing any personal information with them.

Children's Privacy

This site is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.

Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the date at the top. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
